The Homeless Medicine Initiative (HMI) branch of the Healing Clinic seeks to provide care to the underserved community of people who are experiencing homelessness in the DMV area. HMI is currently working with community partner Miriam’s Kitchen to offer volunteering opportunities for students and offering workshops for students to learn about the complex medical needs of housing insecure patients.
